An Oregon truck driver is returning to work after two months away, just in time for Christmas.
Karen Ebeling’s husband, Scott, is taking on a new job at the nursing home he and his wife had been living in for the past eight months, the Oregonian reported.
Scott and Karen Ebelings had been working at the Cumberland Nursing Home in Eugene, Oregon, since June.
They had been using the nursing facility as a temporary residence while they waited for their applications to be approved.
But in November, Scott and Karen were notified they were moving out.
Scott said he was overwhelmed with emotions after hearing the news.
Karen said she was just looking forward to spending Christmas with her family.
They are looking forward, she said.
